Here are the few Precautionary Tips to Follow after Lasik Surgery
- Post laser surgery of your eyes, make sure that you do a follow up with your doctor. Your doctor should check your eyes the very next day of the surgery. After this check up, your next appointment should be after one week, then after a month’s time and if everything is perfect, after three months once again.
- Post the operation, your doctor will prescribe certain eye drops which will protect your eye from infections. So, at any cost or any work pressure do not forget to use these drops, it’s for your own safety.
- Washing your face with any soap or face wash solution should be avoided for minimum three days after the laser treatment. Ladies should avoid any kind of eye makeup or facial, until three weeks of surgery.
- Avoid swimming and hot baths for a month.
- Do not involve yourself in any rough and touch activities which can harm or injure your eyes. Take good care of your eyes for almost 3 months.
- Wear the nightcaps when you go to bed, as they will protect the eyes from any form of unintentional injury.
- The foremost important instruction is “AVOID RUBBING YOUR EYESâ€.
- Wear your goggles when you go out in the sun or bright light.
